Each BayaShield is a handcrafted, made-to-order art piece created with care, precision, and cultural significance. As such, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges unless the item is damaged upon arrival.
Non-Returnable Items
Because our shields are:
- Custom-made for each client
- Artisanal and unique in finish
- Created as decorative, heirloom pieces
We are unable to accept general returns for change of mind, colour preferences, or minor material variations.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your shield arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with the following:
- Your full name and order number
- Clear photos of the damage
- Images of the outer packaging
We will assess the situation and offer one of the following at no extra cost:
- A replacement shield (if the damage is significant and confirmed)
- A partial refund or repair (based on the extent of damage)
Note: Damage due to mishandling after delivery is not covered.
Shipping Insurance
All orders are shipped with insurance via trusted couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx). We take full responsibility for items damaged in transit under the conditions above.
Cancellations
We begin production shortly after your order is placed. Therefore:
- Orders may only be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase.
- After 24 hours, cancellations are not possible due to the custom production process.
